Our Community Church Centre is a modern facility with a variety of meeting rooms and halls.  It is managed by the Facilities Administrator, Mandy Blackadder, whose details are available at the end of this page.  

​

We have a vision for the future – using our Community Church Centre to support our community more than ever!  We already house a community foodbank here, with volunteers from the community supporting it, working in it, and accessing it.  We have appointed a Youth Worker to further consolidate links with the church, school and community.  So, watch this space for further developments!!!!!

The facility includes:

​

●      1 large Centre Hall and a smaller meeting room, both with audio-visual equipment and sound systems and 1 meeting room with audio visual equipment. 

●      small room with easy clean floor

●      free wifi

●      a large, well equipped modern kitchen, capable of catering for events and large meetings

●      modern toilets, including one with disabled facilities, a child’s size toilet and baby changing facilities

●      car parking

 

These are used regularly for many church events (see the ‘Activities’ heading for more details):

Church meetings:

●      Guild Meetings – full and committee

●      Kirk Session – full and smaller group meetings

●      Sunday morning breakfast, Breakfast Plus and Prayer Group

●      Our children and young folks’ groups: Energize, Grid and Messy Church

●      Weekly choir and orchestra rehearsals

●      Regular monthly coffee mornings 

●      Men’s Shed meetings – Tuesday afternoons 

●      Archway Group – Monday afternoons

 

The Centre is also used regularly by other community groups, e.g.:

●    Community choir

●    Sports and exercise groups

●    Dance schools

●    Art and Craft groups

●    Photography groups

●    Dog training

●    MP Surgeries

 

It can also cater for:

●      Weddings

●      Funerals

●      Conferences

●      Business Meetings

●      Children’s Events

●      Concerts & Gigs

●      Charity events
