  • This year we will be singing the Easter Story on Palm Sunday, 14 April, at 7:30 in the Kirk by the Sea in Kinghorn, Fife. The music for this was written and arranged by Stephen and Sandra Miller, so we have local interest! It’s always great to have a few ‘well kent ‘ faces in the audience, so please come along if you can. Donations only- no ticket necessary.
  • The usual monthly fundraising coffee morning will take place in the Community Church Centre on Saturday 30th March 2019 from 10am until 12noon. Tea, coffee, and juice (with refills) and delicious and varied home baking will be served. The usual tables with bric-a-brac, books, clothes and baking will be set up. Donations of home baking or items for the sale tables will be gratefully received. All are very welcome to attend.
  • It is intended to hold a Lent Course again this year. This will be in the same format as before- Saturday mornings from 9am until 10am in the Church Centre, starting with rolls and coffee and studying more of the personalities of the crucifixion. If you would like to take part, please keep the dates free – 16th March to 13th April – five in all.
  • The Kirk Session is called to meet on Sunday 3rd March 2019 at 10:15am in the boardroom. The service that day will include the admission of new members by profession of faith. The Guild will meet on Thursday 7th March 2019 at 7:30pm in the Church Centre. There will be an excellent speaker- the Very Reverend Lorna Hood who is a previous Moderator of the General Assembly. The Worship Committee will meet on Sunday 10th March 2019 at 11:45am in the boardroom. The Kirk Session will meet on Tuesday 13th March 2019 at 7:30m in the boardroom. All elders are asked to attend this meeting. The Nominating Committee will meet on Sunday 17th March 2019 at 6:00pm in the boardroom. The Guild AGM is on Thursday 21st March 2019 at 7:30pm in the Church Centre. The Kirk Session is called to meet on Sunday 24th March 2019 at 10:15am in the boardroom.   • Breakfast Plus resumes on Sunday mornings from 10:05am until 10:20am in the Church Centre with a light-touch pause for Christian thought prior to morning worship.  On Sunday 31st March 2019 Doreen Stewart will take the lead for the first time on behalf of The Guild, and her topic will be 'Companions on the Road'. On 7th April 2019 Roger Yearsley makes a welcome return to lead us when he will be sharing 'Lent Lessons for Life'.
